
The climate crisis is an emergency and South Africa’s trade unions have agreed. On September 20 and 21, South Africa joins the Global Climate Strike, with a multitude of events around the land. Even as the leaders of the world meet in New York for the Climate Action Summit, South Africa is one of the major countries (including Japan, Brazil and the U.S.) not allowed to speak at this event.
